If you don't have a plan for the long weekend yet, here's something that might be of your interest.

FYI, Q-Wave is a local queer women group which dedicates itself to strengthening the voices of queer/lesbian/bisexual women, trans folk and gender non-conforming people of Asian descent.

I am considering going myself (to celebrate the first Sunday for a while that I don't have to work my library shift at school). I'll be happy to go together with anyone who's intereted.

It's time for Q-WAVE's annual potluckpicnic by the river in Battery Park City's Rockefeller Park!

Please bring summertime fruit, snacks, or a prepared dish toshare (enough to feed several others besides yourself)...blankets, games,frisbees, etc.!

Allies, friends, and pets are welcome...and we're happy also towelcome the parents and family members of NYC API PFLAG to our annual event tokick off the summer.
