I watched it at tudou this week and it is one of the best I saw this year!  My Angelinia did her best performance, she did it so good that sometime you might believe she is really the "mother" of that missing child.


本片改編自美國洛杉磯20年代的真實案件，由克林伊斯威特執導，這也是他繼《神祕河流》榮獲金棕櫚大獎後，再度拿下坎城評審特別獎的新片。安吉莉娜裘莉兼具剛毅及細膩的演出驚艷坎城，並以此片入圍2009年奧斯卡最佳女主角獎。

1928年3月，洛杉磯，一個晴朗的星期六，一名住在勞工階級社區的單親媽媽克莉絲汀柯林斯（安潔莉娜裘莉飾）因為臨時要去加班，必須讓九歲大的兒子華特一個人在家，等她下班回家時，卻發現兒子失蹤了。

經過全面搜尋之後，仍然沒有華特的消息，直到五個月後，警方找到一個小孩並宣稱是她兒子，洛城警方期待這對母子的團圓能改善洛城警局貪污腐敗的形象。克莉絲汀在大批記者和警察的環繞下，被說服將這個男孩帶回家，但是她知道這男孩並不是華特。因此她還是向有關當局反映這件事，並催促他們繼續尋找她的兒子，但此舉卻讓她被警方打壓，甚至被關進精神病房，此時一名牧師（約翰馬可維奇飾）向她伸出援手，幫助她對抗洛城警局，並繼續協尋她的兒子。

克莉絲汀在面對貪污腐敗的警局的同時，鍥而不捨地企圖找出答案，在這個過程中，她成為平時受到洛城警局迫害的基層老百姓心目中的女英雄。她誓言不找到兒子絕不放棄，而理應是人民保姆的警察，想盡方法打壓她，希望能解決這個心腹大患。

故事發生在20年代的繁華大都會洛杉磯，場景繁複，從克莉絲汀居住的郊區，一直到她工作的電話公司，還有被抗議者圍住的市政府大樓等都要重現20年代末和30年代初的景象，工作人員必須做非常多的研究。勘景指導一開始就發現當年許多老舊的建築物早就被拆掉，許多街道和社區都變成了高速公路，包括柯林斯家。對照八十年前和現今的照片，故事發生的區域完全面目全非。

於是在現代的洛杉磯重現當年的樣貌，這個艱鉅的任務就落在美術指導村上詹姆斯和外景經理派屈克米納諾的身上。這個任務對美術指導村上詹姆斯來說是一大挑戰，他和他的小組分別在聖迪瑪斯市、聖伯納迪諾市以及帕莎蒂娜市找到沒有被拆除的郊區，便以此地作為片中20年代洛杉磯的拍片地點。

我以前並沒有特別喜歡angelina
除了他那部girl interrupted.

感覺他好像被捧的很莫名其妙..

但是這部片我看完就覺得....it's good.


很少哭..

但是遇到親情的題材好像就很容易動容..

2008倒數迎接2009的同時, 就正在電影院裡看這部片
這是一部好看的電影, 時代感刻劃的很好, 值得用心去體會
二輪片快上了, 推薦去看

i admit, she kinda does grow on you a bit, i don't know if it has anything to do with the mass hype. but,
i think she's aging well....the aura of being more...mature..?

this movie reminds me of another movie...

white people always appeared to age faster than asian.   dark water, wasn't it that movie was remade of the japanese horror movie? I like the original (japanese), the story is more making sense.

我深深覺得，陌生的孩子，真的很好看!!

大概是我盡年來，看完真的掘得很不賴的電影!
而且雖然說片長很長有三小時久，但豪不覺得會浪費時間我想!

white people always appeared to age faster than asian.   dark water, wasn't it that movie was remade of the japanese horror movie? I like the original (japanese), the story is more making sense.

the remakes....eck...

but i kinda watched it for jennifer connelly..

speaking of remakes...

i think about naomi watts....who is another actress...i like...

i think most of the ones i am more drawn to are the one that's passin over 30 ...40s...

like...diane lane....mary louise parker....julianne moore....cate blanchett(especially..)......famke janssen.....and of course...michelle pfeiffer...

and so much more...hmm...

but there are a few younger ones to look out for recently..
